Parent App

Driver App

The Driver app enables the driver to improve on driving behavior and productivity. Driver is alerted on violations committed while driving and can view reports on the same to help change behavior. Driver is also alerted when vehicle is due for service or insurance etc.

Live Tracking of School Buses

The application offers parents real-time tracking of the bus in a simple way enabling them to supervise their child's journey to and from school. Parents can also know when the bus is approaching their child's pick up or drop off points.

Notifications on mobile devices

Messages for when the students board and off-board the bus on reaching the destination are instantaneously sent to the parents mobile device as alerts.These notifications are also sent when the bus leaves the school or when there is a delay .

Time Management

Proximity alerts are sent to the parent when the bus is 5 or 10 minutes away from the pick up or drop off points.This helps the parents to get accurate Estimated Time of Arrival therefore avoiding last minute rushes that characterize the mornings.

The parent app is a component of our commute system that serves as an arm of the admin dashboard, capable of providing a host of features that aids the parents to track the child's school bus as well as ensure a convenient and safe school commute for their kids.

Single app for multiple kids

A parent who has children who go to different schools can have the children registered in one single parent application. That means parents can easily toggle between the children to track the different school buses. They can also receive alerts from the different schools on the same app

Auto-generate trips

Our school transport system can auto-generate trips daily. This type of automation allows the transport department to run their operations smoothly.

Smart Card Attendance System

Equipped with RFID cards, students will be able to register their on-boarding and off-boarding of the bus by means of RFID readers that will be installed in the buses. The main advantage of this is that daily ridership numbers will be accurately generated using this data.

SOS Alerts

In the event of an emergency, the driver is able to send an SOS alert via the driver app to the school. The school then responds to the alert by sending another vehicle and also pushing a customized notification to the parents of the kids in the bus that has been affected.

Parent Coomunication

The school admin web based app is able to pick requests from parents using the parent app platform. Parents send requests like need to replace RFID card, need incident report on certain driver, relay information on driver behavior etc. The school can then respond to the parent with the needed information on the parent app.

Route management

Schools are also able to set-up the routes on which the buses need to ply while picking or dropping the students using our system.Once these routes are defined, buses can be assigned to them based on vehicle capacity and student ridership

We may collect, use and provide to trusted third parties solely anonymous data (statistics and quantitative data) such as overall usage of Safe and Sound Commute’s App in a specific geographical location, length of use of the App by an individual in a given session (without identifying the individual), and average daily, weekly and monthly access to the app by unidentified users

5. Our Assurance

We will not sell student information nor build a personal profile of a student other than for supporting authorized school purposes or as authorized by the parent/student. We will not knowingly retain student personal information beyond the time period required to support the authorized school purposes.
We will support parental access to, and correction of errors in, their children’s information.

6. Mobile App Info.

Information about how you interact with the Mobile Application and any of our websites to which the Mobile Application links, such as how many times you use a specific part of the Mobile Application over a given time period, the amount of time you spend using the Mobile Application, how often you use the Mobile Application.

The Protected Information and Usage Information we collect is securely stored within our databases, and we use standard, industry-wide, commercially reasonable security practices such as encryption, firewalls and SSL (Secure Socket Layers) for protecting your information.
